BIOGRAPHY
Fazile Kepadia is an Associate Attorney with the firm. She has been a licensed with the State Bar of Texas since 2020, with a focus on taxation, business law, and risk management. She earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Houston Law Center, where she received the highest grade in Tax Research. She also holds a Juris Doctor from the same institution, where she was recognized for achieving the highest grade in Secured Transactions and served as a contributing editor for the Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting.
She has interned with the Honorable Judge Frances Stacy for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and served as a student attorney at the Entrepreneurial and Community Development Clinic, offering legal representation to local entrepreneurs and nonprofit organizations.
Fazile’s professional experience includes serving as a Supervisory Attorney at the Small Business Administration. In this role, she led teams in reviewing COVID EIDL loan applications, ensuring compliance and risk management across a $420 billion portfolio. She also collaborated with other federal agencies, such as the Office of Inspector General and Department of Justice, to identify and address potential fraud, providing strategic guidance on complex legal issues.
